Run A Muck Ranch did yet another invite out to friends for a walk in the desert, this time to a new water hole area we found last week.
Run A Muck Ranch was represented by Crazy, Crabby, Gracie, Emmi, Hector and DASH!. Crazy spent most of her time taking pictures of the visitors, *assuming* Crabby was focusing on his own kids. That was not the case as apparently Crabby was only wearing his camera as a fashion accessory today. As you will see, the Run A Muck Ranch kids are barely seen in this narrative.
Say it with me: “BAD Crabby!”.
We were joined by Ms. Kali and her Dad from The House of Kyla.
This was the first time Run A Muck Ranch and Kyla got together. Though we are fellow bloggers, living in the same State, we always believed we were somewhat far apart. Turns out, as the crow flies, we’re neighbors! As the cars drive, maybe we’re 6 or 7 miles separate, which hopefully comes in handy because DASH! has never seen a girl his size before and he was quite interested in this strange new she-creature he physically doesn’t have to look up to.
I could see DASH! becoming quite smitten with Ms. Kali, especially because you can tell just looking at her, she is fast. Our little comet loves speed, and a little girlfriend he can break the sound barrier with would just make his day!
DASH! has already asked if I could get Kali’s mailing address so he could send her something smelly as a symbol of his affection. I said I would try, but somehow I don’t think Kali’s Mom would understand…
Incidentally, this is the one instance I am actually glad Pierre couldn’t make it. Pierre is more refined than DASH!. If Kali had shown preference to Pierre, it would have broken DASH!‘s giant little heart.
Our second guest of the day was Clarence,
accompanied by his mom Melanie and his Dad, Tim.
This was Clarence’s first time off leash, in an open environment, with strange dogs. As you can see, he had a hard time of it.
Where we are really hoping DASH! can begin a relationship with Kali, Clarence really needs to be introduced to The Idiots. If a little mud between his toes does this to Clarence, we can only imagine what mud + Idiots would do to him!
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: reach out to Internet friends with similar interests and plan to get together from time to time. Face time is so much better than clicks on a keyboard.
