Mortimer: Dog Photographer

We finally downloaded the camping video off the Morty Cam last night.  There are 26 stomach lurching segments, best not to watch soon after eating, to go through.  Suffice it to say, it’s gonna be a while before we have anything cohesive to show you.

Quite a few people have asked about the Morty Cam, so here is your pictorial explanation:

The camera is a Go Pro Hero.  Rather than back or shoulder mounted, which could hinder Morty’s movement, Crabby decided to go collar mounted.  Adjustments are being made to reduce the sway of the camera when Morty runs.

As you saw in the Morty Cam demo posted yesterday, the collar mount certainly doesn’t slow Morty down any!

    1. I saw a corgi cam video on YouTube. Not much excitement in the travels of a stumpy (keep in mind my Angus is a corgi, so I am not prejudiced against the tribe), but we have often wondered, given Morty’s ability to morph in front of us once second, behind us the next, on the trail, what he sees. Thus, the Morty Cam.

    1. Once we get out of Beta on the camera attachment, it is able to do time lapse still shots or video. Looking forward to seeing life through Morty’s eyes!
